So, I’ve been reading the book Pillow Thoughts and I’m enjoying it more than I thought I would be. The book is broken up into several different parts. One part is just poems about missing someone, the other is for loving someone, and the other one is for finding yourself. I believe it’s a good book for when you’re lost in your thoughts or aren’t finding anything to do. The book is short, sweet and simple. One of my favorite quotes from this book is, “I will love you even if we don’t end up together. Even if you walk away from me, I will still love you. I will love you even if you marry someone else and on the coldest days of the year you spend your nights wishing you had married me after all, because no one knows how to ignite the fire in your soul quite the way I do.” The poem just spoke to me, in that cliche way. Pillow Thoughts is truly one of the best “Mental Health” day books. Just like a quick picker upper, or a “I need to feel good” day. Go read it for yourself and enjoy it.
So , I’m beginning to start this blog about books. Everyone loves books, right? I decided to start writing about the books I’m reading, books I’ve read, and books I plan to read because I think books open up a new door in our lives. I will be posting review, updates, requests; all of that good stuff. I’m hoping that this blog gets extremely popular, or halfway there, to occupy my time and help other avid readers to broaden their horizons with the books I have read. Also, to see what else there is in the book world or me to read. Every month I’ll ask if there is any books you’d like me to read and I will do so. So, thanks and I hope everyone enjoys this as much as I do. 🙂
